The simple meal the old lady made for me while I was having my salad.
Silent stories.
Whenever I see old people, my heart tends to weep. Today, I was having my packed salad in one of the classrooms when my lady boss’s sister or mom walked slowly towards me with a bowl of korean porridge perhaps and a home made korean sauce to go with me.
I was taken aback by the gesture, let alone the image I’d just seen. She was surprised to see me eating a salad and paused at the door, but finally came in. She spoke in korean to me while gesturing what I was to do. It seemed like most of the old people I encounter, sad eyes.
Every time I look at an older person, I don’t see their wrinkles as a sign of aging. These wrinkles stand symbolic to me. It tells me stories of a person. Their laugh lines. Their love stories. Their heartfelt moments. And all in that instant, when I’m looking at them. I feel their life story. So inspired yet so helpless at the same time.
Maybe that’s why I’ve always been drawn to older people when I was a kid. Maybe that’s why I’m doing what I do. Stories.
Walk by and you’d miss their whole life story.
Gutted
Disclaimer: a rant.
I worked so hard for this, spending every ounce left in me to get things going. It’s always got to be the unreliability of someone who doesn’t feel just as much about a project. Utterly gutted. I’m going to allow myself tonight and a part of tomorrow to just be sad and let it all go.
Tomorrow starts again, with working just as hard. For something. I don’t know what yet. Something. I hope. Please. Inspiration. Best friend. Something. Yeah, something.
Good! It should be that way.
So… Do I have a recruit in you to join me on my

Be it a scam as some skeptics may say, this should be brought to light. This makes me mad.
